The Levi Open

The Levi Open - Arctic Challenge Fencing Tournament is the primary reason I first came to Levi. Each January for twelve years fencers from around the world have gathered to fence, ski and play in Levi.  The tournament is especially fun because the fencers are there to enjoy the sport of fencing, not because a coach has told them to go or they are seeking points for a team.

2007 was the last of the Saresto Opens, but the tradition is continuing with the Levi Open Arctic Challenge, a celebration of sword and snow.
