David Cline and

David Cline was born 1766. David died 20 Dec 1828 in Rutherford Co., NC, at 62 years of age. David's ancestry is unproved and he is considered one of the "unknown" Clines. Very probably he is a grandson of Sebastian Klein and Elizabeth Beiber/Beaver. Possibly he is the son of Sebastian Klein, Jr. and Margaret Ramsaur(?) as their children are also unknown.
He married Sarah Salome Carpenter 1786. Sarah was born in Lincoln Co., NC 1766. Sarah was the daughter of Jacob Carpenter and Catherine Ramsaur. Sarah died 1863 in Cleveland Co., NC, at 97 years of age. Conflicting evidence states that Sarah was born in Lincoln Co., NC, 1773.
